지네각시는 지네가 여인으로 변신하여 사람과 결혼하는 한국의 전설적인 존재로, 이물교구 설화에 등장한다. 가난한 남자가 아름다운 여인을 만나 부유해지는 이야기를 담고 있으며, 그 여인은 사실 지네의 화신이다. 여인의 본모습인 지네를 보아서는 안 된다는 금기가 있으며, 이를 어길 경우 인연이 깨진다. 이 설화는 은혜와 배신, 금기 위반의 주제를 포함하고 있다.

The Jinegakssi is a being from Korean folklore that transforms from a centipede into a woman and forms a marital bond with a human.
The Legend
A poor man meets a beautiful woman and lives with her, becoming wealthy, but the woman is actually the embodiment of a centipede. The taboo of not being able to see the woman's true form (the centipede) is crucial, and if the man breaks this taboo, their bond is severed. This tale contains motifs of grace, betrayal, and taboo violation.
