Mandurugo exists in the form of a young and beautiful woman during the day, but at night, she gains wings and a long, sharp tongue. They inflict wounds on men's necks or pierce their mouths with kisses to obtain blood. One of the famous tales is about a 'girl with many loves,' where a young woman marries multiple times, but each husband meets his death shortly after marrying her. The fourth husband, fearing her true nature, cannot sleep at night while holding a knife, and eventually discovers the identity of the Mandurugo.
