Description
Former Goryeo-era guardian deity corrupted into evil during Joseon period. Appears as innocent child to lull victims, then rapidly grows to immense size to crush them

It is presumed to be 'something large standing in darkness' named after 'shadow·darkness'.
The Legend
Ggeusndae cannot be defeated by physical attacks when it reveals its true form, the shadow, and it grows larger the more it is attacked. However, it cannot exert its power without darkness, and it can be defeated if several people hold torches and eliminate the shadow's true form. Additionally, Ggeusndae is said to be a former guardian deity from the Goryeo era that transformed into an evil spirit during the Joseon period, initially appearing in the form of an innocent child to lure victims, then rapidly growing to a gigantic size to crush them.
