The Legend
Tlahuelpuchi is a type of vampire or witch that lives with human families. They can shapeshift and suck the blood of infants at night. When they shapeshift, they possess a kind of glowing aura. Tlahuelpuchi is born with a curse that cannot be avoided. They become aware of what they are during puberty. Most Tlahuelpuchi are female, and female Tlahuelpuchi are more powerful than males. They have their own territories and have contracts with shamans and other supernatural beings. Generally, victims sacrificed by Tlahuelpuchi are characterized by bruises on their upper bodies. Tlahuelpuchi primarily feed on children but can kill others as well.
